Air as it comes in the house

The biggest issue on air is to find a way to solidify it. Not in freezing but in unfreezing.

Imagine air as a block. Inside each block we have a continuous amount of oxygen. Now the block I speak of is the earth. Earth itself is a compelling block. It holds air and inside the air we find there are molecules which eventually release components which aid in life.

If these air blocks are continuous then they are like a tree. The tree holds air but inside of the sap. The sap carries the molecules of air up inside of the branch and the tree then respirates by letting the air out. When winter comes the release or flow of air slows down and the air inside the sap freezes. When the freezing cycle is finished then the air begins to flow again. This is why the leaves drop off because the flow of air begins to slow down and stop. It is the chlorophyl in the sap which stops moving into the leaves. And if that sounds strange just think of it from the trees perspective.

Now if the earth is a single block of air but frozen in winter then imagine that is the way of the house. The house begins to move when we move or when pressure from air moves it out. But there are aspects of houses which do not move the air. So air then becomes part of the house. If the house is locked away in time, as in an attic or an unused room, then the air circulates if there is a shaking of the air such as an attic vent or a person curiously sticking their head into the room.

When such things happen the air moves slightly and then reverts to what we’ll say is status.

Status air is when molecules in the air revert to what we’ll call pre air movement. Pre air or pre-air is like getting air moved from one location to another. The air doesn’t necessarily revert but it becomes pre-air. Pre-air is like pre-thought and if you think of it its there but if you don’t its not.

So lets say that sometimes things change. Sometimes people who build earth sheltered homes don’t think of the future. Sometimes they build a home but they don’t plan for air flow. So the air goes into the home through a pipe. The pipe is built vertically and it allows air to enter and air to leave. It doesn’t process air or push air but the pressure of moving air changes the pressure in the pipe.

If the air in the pipe moves up the air inside the house is move with it. That is because it is linked by the pipe. If the pipe is removed the air in an underground home may suffer. That is it may take on toxic nature because no one is there to guide the lead of the air.

Guiding air is how it should be seen. If you have air it should be seen as a hound. The hound moves when you command. If you have no leash for the air it won’t go. It will stay and it will move only if pressure pushes. That isn’t wise because air is notoriously  lazy.

Lazy air is air which doesn’t get out. Lazy air is often circulation poor. Lazy air doesn’t get fat but it can get dangerously thin. When air doesn’t move at all it becomes nitrogen rich and that can kill. And so the danger to us is if we want a home we have to lead the dog. And lazy dogs won’t move until the master reaches down and pushes the dog. And if we want an earth sheltered house we have to see it as the dog.

Now we can’t move the entire house each time we want air but we can move the house in the sense of time. If the house is to reach a cool state, which is the goal of most of us, then the cool air must be carried into the home from below. So if geothermal is the concept of bring up temperature change then geothermal is the solution to air change. In order to conceive this we need time and perhaps a way of manipulating things.

So lets say we want to lead the air. We want to lead it to water. So when it reaches a place where we can lead it to water the water will change the nature of the air. It will become cool and the water will warm. Not immediately but perhaps in a week or two of temperature changes. So we need a large body of water to help change the body of air. And that would require one thing that most earth sheltered homes don’t have; a lake.

A lake is one way of manipulating the flow of air into an earth-sheltered home. It is one way that each flow or lead becomes the cool and the lead away becomes the warm. So when the warm air flows out of the house it goes into the lake. The lake takes on the warm air and grows warm. This would be in the summer when most lakes need cool. So to make this easy we have to find a way of cooling the lake from the bottom. And to do this we need a way of storing ice under the lake. So when the lake is frozen on top it will be frozen at the bottom. The center will remain liquid so the fish can continue to thrive. If the fish are to do well they need air. So the outlet of air would be cold and they don’t mind. So the outlet would be the inlet in the summer when we need a way of retrieving the cold air we stored. Now to achieve ice we don’t need a refrigerator. We need time. And we need a way of Stirring the water up so it becomes part of the story. Stirred water matures in a way that slow water doesn’t. So the stone we throw into the lake will create ripples. So the air we throw into the lake will create a ripple affect also. This will mean the lake might not be safe for winter use. To overcome this we would have to baffle the flow of water and air so they remain placid. Of course the turbulent water is the best way to open the course of air to becoming ice. Turbulent water becomes ice and still water doesn’t always. It might not make sense but think of river and sea. The river freezes even though there is movement whereas the deep sea doesn’t. At least not immediately.

Now the flow of air from the house goes under the earth into the lake. It carries a hose up into the home to push air from the cold part of the ice under the lake and then the air pushes back through to the underside of the lake where it warms up the ice. So the two have to be in synchronicity. Otherwise the flow doesn’t function. I suppose in a way its like the push we get when we siphon water. It pushes water up a slight rise. Now we are not pushing for water but for air. Air moves like a dog and so when we get it moving it will continue to move. And so when we move the block the entire block must move. And this is the case with air. It may not appear to move as a block but it does. This is do to a change in pressure. Pressure will move the air from point a to point b. And it moves it up the chain even if cold and hot tend to rise and fall.

The best way describe such a system is a geo-air system of block movement. It carries the air up and out and it then retrieves a new batch of air through the air hose from the trap under the house. There the air is pushed into the air outlet and into the air intake and the two are intertwined in such a way so the air never really moves except in the hole you create. Now to put it into perspective lets push it all back to the air hole in the floor.

We have a false floor. The false floor has moving baffles. The baffles carry a hole in the floor through cracks. The cracks carry up the old air and pushes that up to the ceiling where another false floor will push that up through another floor until you reach the outside. The entire floor system is based on tiny cracks in the floor. Not imperfections but tiny slits or holes. They don’t have to be covered with carpet but each room that needs air should have it. And that includes the root cellar which tends to grow old quick.

The entire system then becomes part of a chain. There are two hoses. One goes into the lake. It is the outlet. It doesn’t need an intake under the ice unless you want it. The lake should be deep enough that you can avoid the ice. I take both sides of the equation just in case someone wants to try it. Now the hose goes under the lake or just into the lake. The water then enters only in spring. In spring you can take the cool nature of the lake and build it up geothermally. That means you can have an air hole in the winter but a cold water system in the summer. And the system should work like a tree.

Now the most important thing is to remember the system must have an outlet. Just as a tree has a leaf so the house must have a crack in order for the air to flow up and out. If the air doesn’t flow up and out it then traps inside the tree. That doesn’t happen simply because it isn’t a wise way to flow. The tree, if it did trap, might explode but more likely would just faint away and die. That is cold lack of blood flow and it tends to cause strokes.

So to avoid air flight handling problems let the air flow up the house and not push it around as we tend to do. When the house is handled right the human inside will sigh and be happy. And we can have cold and hot air flow when it is needed. And if we do it just right nature itself will help to carry it for us. Only in Spring and perhaps in fall will we need to find a way to carry it the way it would otherwise. That and find a way to prevent the ice from forming all the way to the bottom of the lake. That wouldn’t be wise if we change the nature of life.
