Dreams Sell

If I tried to sell you some swamp land in Florida you'd probably buy it. Why? Because swamp land is good for the environment. In fact I grew up on the joke of a salesman so good he could sell you anything even the proverbial swamp land of Florida. In fact I treasured that thought of owning swamp land. I longed to buy some of my own and I wasn't joking. Even today I think of owning swamp land in Michigan or even Florida if its not available elsewhere. So was I gullible? Was I a fool to think that swamp land was cool? Was I one of those guys that you could sell anything to?

Perhaps in a way its true. I probably spent 10 years of life on the Internet joining every MLM production there was. Salesmen abounded and they switched and chipped away at my wallet until I had probably given away a swamplands acreage worth of profits. And in all that time I didn't learn from the first experience but went on to the next and the next and the next until I became an expert in what not to do. Don't mess with MLM. Now this may offend some of you and you have a right to be offended by my experiences. But then again I look at MLM as making lots of mistakes and hopefully coming out ahead.

So if MLM didn't work for me and I still haven't gotten my Michigan swamp land then what do I do to get that property in the UP? I wish I could say that I've learned how to become rich but I haven't. Now it is true that I tend to skim. I am a skimmer of news and ideas and read and read and read. In the process of building Earth House I have come to understand them to a degree. But they are like a beast and that beast has to be fed daily. Again I speak proverbs because they teach you wisdom. This beast is knowledge and people want it and prefer it free, which I don't mind giving. But if you don't feed them they gather elsewhere, where I'm not sure, but still EH is a gathering place of sorts and a watering hole for sure. I just have to make sure you get fed and that means keeping you satisfied.

But what do you really want? I tend to write these things but you, the reader, tend to skim these things. And in the skimming you gather knowledge, hold it up to the light, and judge it according to the number of carats you see. If its 5 carats it must be a great site. Perhaps not flawless but okay. All right the answer is I don't know. But I do treasure your response.

Earth House continues to do well attendance wise. I suspect I'm somewhere around 1,000 people a day though if its higher it could be so. All my attendance records fell apart and so I have to guess how well I'm doing with my dreams. Spreading the word of Earth Homes.

Anyway after a breakfast at Mcdonalds with dad this morning I wanted to write something, anything that you could read so you could decide "I learned something" and if in the learning know that I had a dream and I wanted to sell it to you. But what was the cost? You reading this smoothly flowing article.

I need dreamers to talk to. I need dreamers to share with me. I need fresh blood. Its true that I still get mail and still get house listings and still find myself too busy for my own good. But you could write and you could drop me a line just to say hello.
