We put prayer in a box. It was called Prayer.

How do you put prayer in a box? If we were to answer this we would have to help you. But think before you leap forward. Imagine that I prayed so much I gained knowledge. Now imagine that along with this knowledge I had to fight. In the fight I came across war torn people who had no one to fight for them. Now they prayed and I prayed but God put us together and we prayed.
Now the end result will be glory to God. But the present result is the battle is waged against flesh and blood but on a battle torn spirit. That is me. I am battle torn.
Battle torn means I hurt day after day. It doesn’t seem to end. During the first months, depending on which box we speak of, I was broken and torn. In other boxes sent by the enemy I went out of my mind and went nearly insane. In other boxes I fought until it seemed there was no one in all the world ‘dumb’ enough to pray like I did.
Now having been into prayer I say that with love to God. God and I are friends and I asked if it would be all right to say dumb. And God doesn’t mind. He knows I face a war with a dumb man. Not Him but god sin. Now I face a battle with an idiot. I’ve called him that more then once because I tell him “You are being defeated” and though he keeps bringing back parts of himself he is. He is an evil that I call Pel. He was there from the beginning of this story so we might call him A Pel. Now Jesus was A and O but in the language of the Greek we can say that was the end of things. In English Jesus wouldn’t leave out P-Z. He’d just say I am A and Z. And we would laugh because in Canada they would say Zed. Of course in Canada Zed is probably the least of his worries.
Now the biggest issue to life is that I pray. I don’t cease and if you knew why you would see prayer as a war. You would go into prayer and perhaps at first it would be easy. Then it would be different. Then it would be wild. Then if you were not prepared for it you might lose a battle. And if you lost one you might lose more. Not because you fail to see but because you fail to see. Now in my case I fell because I had to make a choice between life and death. And I choose death rather then suffer the indignation of life. In a way its a joke but in a way it is true. Only I found after someone declared me dead I wasn’t really dead. I had somehow survived to keep on fighting. So I went down fighting and swinging and botching up my life only it was a battle. And battle was the life of those I fought with and for. And yet they saw me as the Pandora box. And they saw hope or heard it but didn’t want the box left open for others to see.
So if you prayer I won’t say you’ll go into the battle like I did. Everyone has the potential to win the world and lose their soul. Only the soul isn’t the Spirit but a spirit called sin. So the question Jesus asked was a mystery. We took it to mean that we would lose our soul if we gained the world. It also meant if we gained the world it wouldn’t matter if our soul was lost. That will one day make sense.
Now I suggest to pray you go into it with desire to find a box. God loves sending us boxes. Each box is a mystery which will solve a riddle. If you can find God in the riddle you win another box. If you can’t then you keep praying until you figure out what it is you want with your life. Some never know. Some never pray. Some never know the universe was made by God and is filled with riddles without end. I know because for awhile I thought I would go crazy. I saw them everywhere and wondered “How can I possibly find them all.” Now I ask God to lead me to those which are meant to be found. And they are. And that in itself is a miracle for we are dealing with the equivalent of picking a rabbit out of a hat on the moon. And when you finish you put the rabbit away and feed it in your back yard. Only you know how the rabbit got there on the moon.
So finally know God is God. He is real. I fight with him everyday in prayer. And we are friends. Someday maybe best of friends. I hope so. I hope so because prayer is one of those things that requires time. And if you can find the time and times in which to pray then you are a warrior.
